“I am grateful for the Training that Fr Andrew and Marie led in the Archdiocese of Cardiff recently. The days training, with Clergy and then with Safeguarding Reps, was extremely well-received by us all. It was good to be able to hear direct from two survivors of abuse. Their courage and the manner in which they were able to reflect on their experience was not only very moving but also inspiring. It was good to be able to witness how they are putting their experience of ongoing healing at the service of the most vulnerable, and to continue to raise awareness of abuse in so many different settings. Clergy and lay faithful, of the Archdiocese of Cardiff have continued to reflect on the learnings from the Training, so that all of us can be more vigilant in respect of abuse, and be willing to accompany more deeply, the victims-survivors in our communities.”
